Here’s a roundup of fixes we’ve shipped since June 2, 2026: Mark any product as a donation product.
- Author post counts on Co-Authors Plus byline pages no longer double-count posts when a guest author is linked to a real user account. (newspack@6.42.7)
- In a Newspack Network, posts scheduled for a future date on a node site keep that scheduled date when the origin site re-syncs them, instead of being republished immediately. (newspack-network@2.20.3)
- Plugin health-check alerts in the Newspack dashboard no longer fire for integrations you haven’t configured (for example, an ESP you don’t use), and repeat alerts for the same issue no longer pile up. (newspack@6.42.4)
- Newspack now disables Jetpack’s built-in Subscriptions module on sites where it’s active, so newsletter signups and email sending are handled cleanly by Newspack Newsletters instead of competing with Jetpack. (newspack@6.42.3)
- Broadstreet ad placements now pick up the theme’s configured ad background color, matching how Newspack’s other ad providers render. (newspack-theme@2.23.1)
- [newspack-theme] On posts using the Feature template, wide and full-width images now expand to their proper width again when a plugin (such as a text-to-speech tool) wraps the article body. Previously these images stayed clamped to the article column on the published page. (v2.22.3)
- [newspack-plugin] Fixes a styling glitch in the post editor where some controls — including the publish-date picker — could appear slightly off after a recent update, especially on sites using Content Gates with WooCommerce Memberships. (v6.42.1)
