Here’s what we’ve fixed across the Newspack suite since Hotfix roundup: July 13–17, 2026.
- Content Distribution now notices when sending a post to a connected site fails behind the scenes. Instead of incorrectly marking the post as distributed, it leaves it eligible to be re-sent automatically the next time the post is updated. (newspack-network@2.21.1)
- Fixes a problem where readers clicking a link in a newsletter could land on a blank page, on sites using ActiveCampaign together with Jetpack’s search. Campaigns no longer adds a donor-tracking tag to newsletter links unless one has been configured, and broken tags in newsletters that were already sent are now cleaned up automatically when readers click through. (newspack-popups@3.15.1)
- On sites with a content gate where the registration wall is active but its article metering is turned off, logged-out readers now see the registration prompt on their first article, instead of incorrectly receiving the paywall’s free-article allowance. The “free articles” notice for logged-in readers also now shows the correct renewal period. (newspack@6.46.1)
- Newsletter signups on sites using ActiveCampaign no longer fail after a custom field’s personalization tag is renamed in ActiveCampaign. Signups now match renamed fields correctly, and if a piece of signup data can’t be saved, the reader is still subscribed. (newspack-newsletters@3.37.1)
