Contribution Meter Block
Visualize fundraising progress toward your donation goal with automatic revenue tracking for Newspack donation products.
Choose between linear and circular styles, customize colors and thickness, and control which metrics to display (goal amount, amount raised, percentage). The block automatically counts completed donations from your specified start date.
We are also adding new, ready-to-use patterns in the editor to inspire and showcase different and creative ways to use the contribution meter block.
Content Gifting
Allow members to gift restricted articles for 24 hours, up to the configured limit.
If the Jetpack Sharing module is enabled, the “Gift this article” button integrates with it as a sharing service, allowing you to determine how the button renders along with other sharing services.
Otherwise, the “Gift this article” button renders next to the post byline.
By clicking this button, the member is presented with a modal with a unique link that can be shared.
Accessing the article via this shared link includes a banner inviting the recipient to subscribe.
Note: this is a feature only available for sites restricting content via WooCommerce Memberships.

Introduces a new “processing payment” screen when placing an order via the modal checkout
Cover Subscription Transaction Fees
The “Collect transaction fees” functionality has been expanded to also allow readers to cover the fees for non-donation products.
By default, publishers using the functionality will have the “Donations only” option checked. It should be checked off to support subscriptions and other products.
Donate Block: default frequency tab for tiered layout
Just like with the “Frequency” layout, the “Tiers” layout for the Donate block also support setting a default frequency tab to render on page load:
