We’re going to start posting hotfix roundups every Friday so rolling fixes get announced closer to when they get deployed. Here’s a roundup of fixes we’ve shipped since our last release on May 4:

  • [newspack-theme] Multibranded site landing pages and the Collections landing page no longer inherit the column-width setting from your archive layout — they aren’t true archives, and were being unexpectedly narrowed when archives were configured for a one-column layout. (v2.21.2)
  • [newspack-theme] Fixed a layout issue where tables placed inside a Details block would overflow horizontally and force the page to side-scroll on the front end. (v2.21.1)
  • [newspack-plugin] Readers whose subscriptions were migrated from another revenue platform can now resubscribe through My Account after a cancellation. (v6.39.2)
  • [newspack-plugin] Fixed the Add payment method button on My Account for sites that haven’t enabled Audience Management. Clicking it now opens the payment-method modal as intended, instead of silently reloading the page. (v6.39.1)
  • [newspack-plugin] The Audience Management → ESP integration toggle now stays off when a publisher disables it. Previously the setting was being silently re-enabled on every page load, making it effectively read-only. (v6.38.2)
  • [newspack-plugin] Restored donation processing on sites using version 4.x of the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin — the new container service IDs introduced in that version are now handled correctly. (v6.38.1)
  • [newspack-blocks] Fixed the thank-you screen that readers see after completing a donation or subscription through Newspack’s modal checkout — order details are now retrieved correctly so readers see the right confirmation. (v4.26.2)
