Happy June! This release introduces numerous tweaks and small bugfixes:
The Related Post maximum age is back
A recent regression caused an issue where very old posts started showing in the Related Posts. This has been fixed, so the posts should be limited to the date range you set under Newspack > Settings > Display Settings.
If you’d still like to show posts from any time in this section, you can set the maximum age to ‘0’.
Content Loop and Tabs Block now working together
The Content Loop Block uses a combination of regular styles and inline styles to help keep it lightweight. We had a report that this setup was reacting strangely with the Tabs Block. This release fixes the issue, so the Content Loop Block can be nested inside of the Tabs Block without display problems.
Default image fallback improvements
This release also prevents an issue we had with our default image placeholder, where the default image was getting swapped in where it shouldn’t.
You can set your site’s default image in the Media Library by searching for the image, clicking on it to edit, and checking the “Is default image?” checkbox at the bottom.
