Newsletter Ad Placements
Introduces a new insertion strategy for newsletter ads called “placement”.
Ads using the placement insertion strategy are not eligible for auto insertion. To be used in newsletters, it must be placed using the Newsletter Ad block and selecting the placement.
Ads: Support for Google Ad Manager MCM
Multiple Customer Management in Google Ad Manager allows parent publishers to manage ad inventory and accounts for child publishers. This has been integrated into Newspack Ads and you are now able to set a parent network code ID to your setup:

It’s now possible to configure your ad unit inventory to be only the child ad units of a given ad unit.
New “Modern Grid” variation for the Newsletter Subscription block
The Newsletter Subscription block now offers a new variation called “Modern Grid”
