Though we have StatusCake set up for 24×7 automated monitoring of all Newspack sites and would be aware of any outages immediately, you should reach out and let us know when there is an issue with your site that we haven’t already notified you about.

Urgent requests should be limited to outages, security issues, or workflow-blocking concerns — your site is literally offline or something is broken to the degree that you cannot work.

All urgent requests should be submitted to the #newspack-help channel using the form that’s accessible via the lightning bolt. Please include as many details as you can in the thread to help us solve the issue faster for you.

  1. Click the Site Down / Urgent option and the alert is automatically posted to the channel and the entire Newspack team receives a Slack notification.
  2. Add all the details that you have to the thread and someone from the team will follow up.
